The leading team
Avner brings a wealth of experience from the worlds of 3D and 2D industrial printing. Prior to taking the helm at Massivit, he served as General Manager of Asia-Pacific and Global & Strategic Accounts at Stratasys, a global leader in 3D printing, and for 22 years at Scitex Group, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of Graphic Art and 2D Industrial Inkjet Printers. He holds an MSc in Engineering Management from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Ben Gurion University in Israel.
A serial innovator and entrepreneur, Gershon founded Idanit, a pioneering developer of large format digital printing solutions. In 1998, Idanit was sold to Scitex Corporation where it was rebranded as Scitex Vision, and later sold to HP. Mr. Miller was the co-founder of Objet Ltd, a developer and manufacturer of 3D printers. In 2012 Objet merged with Stratasys, to become the leading 3D printing company (traded on NASDAQ under “SSYS”). He holds an BSc in Electro optics from The Jerusalem College of Technology in Israel.
A specialist in innovative multi-disciplinary printing systems, Moshe Uzan has built a distinguished career in the large format digital printing industry. One of the first members of Scitex Vision, Moshe subsequently became R&D manager of the drum machines product line at HP, including leading the development of the company’s ~1$ billion-generating Turbojet project line. He holds a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Ben Gurion University in Israel.
Igor began his career as a programmer at Idanit, before gaining promotion to HP Scitex R&D Application & Color Group Manager where he led a group comprising 60 people covering all products. In 2011 Igor moved to AdOM, where he headed up software and algorithm development for analyzing 3D imaging files in a company offering advanced treatments for the retina. With extensive experience of multi-disciplinary products, Igor holds an MSc in physics from Makhachkala University, Russia. Igor also serves as a Director on the Massivit 3D board.
Avi Hanin brings a lot of experience from PhotoMedex a Nasdaq and Tel-Aviv listed company (PHMD) where he was the Director of Finance. Avi is a Cum Laude CPA graduate from Haifa university and earned his MBA from the Tel-Aviv University Reccanti School of Business.
Formerly CEO of Ziv-Av Engineering, which he grew from a small design office into a leading “build to spec” solution provider with 90 employees and 12M$ revenue from development projects and production projects for companies such as Stratasys, HP, Kodak, Orbotech, Landa, IAI, Rafael. Prior to this, Itzhak worked at Orbotech and Creo (Israel and Canada). He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and graduated from a special Management for Engineers program from the Technion.
Erez has a successful track record in sales & marketing and vast experience in multi-disciplinary systems. Before joining Massivit Erez served as VP Marketing & Business Development at Matan Digital Printers, which was acquired by EFI. Prior to Matan, Erez worked in Objet Geometries (which merged with Stratasys) and served as Asia Pacific Marketing Manager and Product Manager. Erez also worked in Scitex Vision, serving in various management positions both in R&D and Marketing. Erez holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Bar Ilan University.
Amir has extensive experience in marketing, channel development and business development in international and multi-cultural environments. Amir joined Massivit from Stratasys LTD, a global leader in 3D printing. At Stratasys he served in different business development and channel development positions. Prior to Stratasys, Amir worked as VP Marketing at HumanEyes, a startup company in the field of image processing and prior to that as director of business development in Scitex Vision. Amir holds a LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a member of the Israeli Bar Association.
The board of directors
Amos Michelson is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, who is currently the Chairman of seven high tech companies in the areas of medical devices, clean energy, and software, and a director of additional two companies in similar areas.
Mr. Michelson was the Chief Executive Officer of Creo Inc. from June 1995, until Kodak purchased Creo in May 2005 for US$1B. He joined Creo in 1991 and served as Vice President Business Development until his appointment as CEO in 1995. Under Amos’ leadership, Creo went public in 1999 and got to a market value of $3B USD, employed over 4000 people and generated $650 million USD annual revenue. Prior to joining Creo, Mr. Michelson was the CEO of Opal Inc., a semi-conductor equipment company, which was acquired by Applied Materials, and prior to this Mr. Michelson was the Chief Operating Officer of Optrotech Ltd., a NASDAQ company and a developer of optical imaging systems for the electronic industry.
Mr. Michelson is a past member of the Premier’s Technology Council and in 1999 was named by Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year”, along with Dan Gelbart. In 2005, Mr. Michelson was named the BCTIA “Person of the Year”, an award presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the technology industry.
Mr. Michelson holds a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Business School and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Mr. David Reis served as the Chief Executive Officer of Stratasys Ltd. since 2012. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Objet Geometries and as its President. Mr. Reis served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ellomay Capital Ltd and as the President and Chief Executive Officer of ImageID. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of HP Scitex. During his six-year tenure at Scitex Vision, Mr. Reis grew its revenues significantly. He has extensive leadership and international management experience. Mr. Reis served as a Vice Chairman of Objet Geometries, Ltd. He served as a Director of Objet Geometries, Ltd. since 2001. Mr. Reis holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration and an MBA from Denver University.
Yaron Yechezkel is the founder and CEO of Opal Family Office. Yaron previously worked as the manager of Ubank’s private banking branch which is owned by Fibi Group. He also served as the VP of Marketing and Sales in an asset management and mutual funds company. He holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Management specializing in finance and capital markets. Yaron is a licensed adviser from the Israeli Securities Authority (ISA).
