Customer Service Engineer

As a Customer Service Engineer, you will provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of large 3D printers at the customers sites located worldwide. Travel: Approximately 20–30% per month international travel.


Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs, as well as remote support from the headquarters via remote diagnostics and phone
  • Provide on-site training to the customers and dealers, as well as training by WebEx and prepare training documentation
  • Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, R&D, manufacturing and marketing/sales
  • Develop technical service documentation
  • Support sales and marketing with pre-sale and post-sale processes

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or experienced Practical Engineer) in electrical/mechanical engineering (or other relevant degree)
  • Experience in service and maintenance of high-end multidisciplinary capital equipment
  • Experience in training and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Working knowledge and technical ability to test and troubleshoot computer & SW, electrical circuits and mechanical systems

 Advantages
Experience with 3D printing technology or similar industries
