Despite the easing of lockdown rules in many countries, surgeries are experiencing a dire shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is dedicated to their needs, meaning that they will not be able to carry out routine procedures. An increasing number of patients are attempting to deal with their own dental needs and pain at home.

To overcome this crisis, Massivit 3D ‒ in partnership with Senior Dentist, Dr. Danny Ziskind ‒ has designed a new 3D printable face shield suitable for all types of Dental and Surgical loupes and portable headlights. This specialized PPE face shield can be produced on a Massivit 3D printer in just 11 minutes!

Hands-Free Door Opener to Prevent Contamination in All Indoor Contexts

The new door opener, that enables easy opening and closing of most doors via a 3D-printed foot device, is now available from any of Massivit 3D’s worldwide community of 100+ customers. The Gcode file and instructions can be downloaded here.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses, with the most recently discovered causing the COVID-19 coronavirus disease. The COVID-19 is spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth due to coughing or exhaling.

The sweeping COVID-19 outbreak has led to a major shortage in basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for hospitals and medical centers. Massivit 3D, in an effort to contribute to prevention and control of this pandemic, has devised a PPE Face Shield. Using the high speed of Massivit 3D printers, 200 face shields can be produced per day. The Massivit 3D PPE Face Shields are available from Massivit 3D customers and distributors worldwide.
